That's it, see the screenshots if you need a visual guidance (those are ugly and I know it). Make sure to check the console carefully to see the destination and, for the love of god, rename the output into more meaningful name - unless you're a hardcore dev. Note on dumping: the tool will dump the partition data into rather specific path. There you'll see The Four Buttons of Doom - Erase, Read Data (dump), Load Image (flash) and Close. Interface is dead simple - press RMB on any partition and click Manage Partition Data to get into the next menu. Wait for a while until the partition table loads. When a confirmation screen appears check the firehose path and confirm. Next, go to Tools/Partition Manager menu. Open QFIL (from QPST installation directory), check Flat Build, point it towards the programmer (firehose) and set the Storage Type at the bottom right corner to UFS. Switch (reboot) the phone to EDL 9008 mode (adb reboot edl, fastboot reboot edl, etc.). Install Qualcomm USB Driver (present inside the package). Feel free to experiment with the more recent versions, I was using that particular one. Most basic yet working QFIL setup (for those who wants to save their $20):
